Vivere is a personal web development and digital marketing business operated by Joseph Sutliff and Mike Olmsted, based in Grand Junction, Colorado. This site is hosted at vivereweb.com.

2. Information We Collect

a. Information you provide directly

When you submit the contact form on this site, you provide:

• Your name
• Your email address
• A subject line and message body

This information is transmitted to us via EmailJS (a third-party email delivery service) and delivered to our inbox. We do not store contact form submissions in a database — messages land in email only.

b. Information collected automatically

When you visit this site, Google Analytics 4 (GA4) automatically collects:

• Pages visited and time spent on each page
• Referring website or search query
• Browser type, device type, and operating system
• General geographic region (city/state level — not precise location)
• Anonymized IP address (Google anonymizes IPs by default in GA4)

This data is aggregated and used solely to understand how visitors use this site so we can improve it. We do not use GA4 remarketing, advertising features, or cross-site tracking.

c. Cloudflare network data

This site is served through Cloudflare Pages, a global content delivery network. Cloudflare may log IP addresses and request metadata at the network level for security and performance purposes. This is governed by Cloudflare's Privacy Policy.

3. How We Use Your Information

• Contact form submissions — used solely to respond to your inquiry. We do not add you to any mailing list without your explicit consent.
• Analytics data — used to understand site traffic patterns and improve content. Never used to identify individual visitors.
• We do not sell, rent, trade, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.

4. Cookies

This site does not set first-party cookies. Google Analytics 4 may set cookies in your browser to distinguish sessions and measure usage. You can opt out of Google Analytics tracking at any time using the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on or by adjusting your browser's cookie settings.

6. Your Rights

Depending on where you are located, you may have rights regarding your personal information. Regardless of location, we honor the following requests:

• Access: You can request a copy of any personal information we hold about you.
• Correction: You can ask us to correct inaccurate information.
• Deletion: You can ask us to delete your information. Because contact form submissions are delivered via email only, deletion means deleting the email thread from our inbox — we will confirm when done.
• Opt-out of analytics: Use the Google Analytics opt-out tool or a browser extension such as uBlock Origin.

Colorado Residents (Colorado Privacy Act)

The Colorado Privacy Act (C.R.S. § 6-1-1301 et seq.) grants Colorado residents rights to access, correct, delete, and opt out of the sale of personal data. We do not sell personal data. To exercise any right, contact us at joseph@vivereweb.com. We will respond within 45 days as required by law, with one 45-day extension if needed.

California Residents (CalOPPA / CPRA)

California residents may request disclosure of information shared with third parties for direct marketing purposes. We do not share personal information with third parties for direct marketing. California residents may also request deletion of personal data under the CPRA by contacting us at the email above.

7. Children's Privacy

This site is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has submitted information through our contact form, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

8. Data Retention

Contact form messages are retained in our email inbox for as long as is necessary to respond and maintain a record of business communications — typically no longer than two years. Google Analytics data is retained for 14 months per our GA4 settings, after which it is automatically deleted by Google.

9. Data Security

We use commercially reasonable measures to protect your information, including TLS encryption in transit (enforced by Cloudflare) and secure email practices. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy. Material changes will be noted in the revision date.
